PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
We’re looking for a Board-Certified Dermatologist who can treat patients with a variety of skin conditions, ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant. The ideal candidate has experience using diagnostic techniques to identify diseases and implement appropriate treatments.
Must be a Board-Certified Physician in Dermatology
Practice general dermatology such as perform skin examinations, diagnose and treat skin conditions
Examine and assess patients to determine a suitable course of treatment
Perform biopsies as needed to detect skin conditions and skin cancer
Counsel patients on treatment options and long term care of their skin
Perform skin surgeries or refer patients to surgeons for any necessary skin surgeries
Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary
Recommend diagnostic testing or refer patients to other specialists as needed
Utilize electronic medical record system
Record patient’s health history in electronic medical record system or review and approve notes that are scribed by a medical assistant
Your Qualifications:
Current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico
Completion of a training program in dermatology from an accredited university
Board Certification
Must be a U.S. citizen
